Christmas cherries

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Salted butter, softened
  • Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 Egg yolks, stirred
  • Zest and Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour, sifted twice
  • Green and red candied cherries, for topping

Instructions

  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add eggs, vanilla and the zest and mix.
  • Once mix add flour and mix again.
  • Chill the dough for 1 hour.
  • Once chill divide into 18 equal pieces and roll it into ball shape
  • Add the cherries as topping and bake for 30 min in 180c oven.
