Mix the flour with the yoghurt in a mixing bowl. Knead lightly to make a soft dough. Mix well.
Place the dough on a well-floured board and press out the dough to about 12mm thickness. Cut the dough out using a doughnut or cookie cutter.
Heat the oil to deep fry the doughnuts in a deep frying pan or pot.
Put the doughnuts in the oil carefully. Allow the doughnuts either to brown or to fry for about 1 minute on each side.
Finally, transfer the cooked doughnuts onto a plate lined with paper towels. You can add toppings but you have to wait for it to cool down first or, you can enjoy it just like this!
