Mee Rebus

Ingredients

  • 250 ml Water
  • 700 g Mashed Sweet Potatoes
  • 4 pcs Shallots
  • 2 pcs Dried Chili
  • 2 stalk Lemongrass
  • 2 pc Candlenut
  • cup Dried Shrimp
  • 5 g Chicken Powder
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 � tbsp Curry Powder
  • 1 ? tbsp Taucu
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 2 tsp FATBOI Original Wheat Noodle
  • 2 tbsp AYAMAS Extra Spicy Ayam Goreng
  • 1 pc Green Chilli
  • 2 pcs Chopped Deep Fried Tofu
  • 30 g Bean Sprouts
  • Parsley
  • Calamansi

Instructions

  • Blend shallots, dried chili, dried prawn, oil and candlenut until fully well blended.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chili paste with lemongrass until it separates from the oil.
  • Add in water, mashed sweet potato and taucu. Cook until it has fully reduced then add in salt.
  • Cook FATBOI Original Wheat Noodle in a pot of boiling water until soft.

  • Place cooked noodles into paste and continue frying until it has dried up.

  • Add in bean sprouts, deep fried tofu and green chili.
  • Place mee rebus goreng onto a plate.
  • Heat up a wok of cooking oil and fry AYAMAS Extra Spicy Ayam Goreng until it is crispy and golden brown.
  • Decorate it beside the noodle and decorate the noodle with parsley and calamansi.

Notes

Tips and guides:
  1. If you wish to do a soup version, you can add more water into the paste and let it boil a little longer.
  2. You can add more chili paste in it to have a spicier mee rebus.
