Prep Time 10 minutes

Equipment

  • Strainer

Ingredients

  • 50 g Rolled Oats
  • 400 ml Cold Water

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
  • Quickly blend it for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Strain using a strainer or cheesecloth twice.

Notes

  • Use cold water to blend the oat. Cold milk will prevent the oat from getting slimy.
  • Dont blend too long. Prolonged blending will cause the mixer to get heated up and make the oat slimy.
  • You can adjust the sweetness of the oat milk by adding more or less honey.
  • You can add sweeteners and flavourings into your oat milk too. For example, sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon powder and more! Just add them after the last step.
  • Make sure you use rolled oats because rolled oats are less slimy than other types of oats.
  • Dont squeeze the cheesecloth too hard, you might squeeze out the oat pulp too.
  • Strain twice for smoother oat milk.
  • Before drinking, make sure to stir the oat milk well.
