Prep Time 10 minutesmins
Equipment
Strainer
Ingredients
50gRolled Oats
400mlCold Water
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a blender.
Quickly blend it for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Strain using a strainer or cheesecloth twice.
Notes
Use cold water to blend the oat. Cold milk will prevent the oat from getting slimy.
Dont blend too long. Prolonged blending will cause the mixer to get heated up and make the oat slimy.
You can adjust the sweetness of the oat milk by adding more or less honey.
You can add sweeteners and flavourings into your oat milk too. For example, sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon powder and more! Just add them after the last step.
Make sure you use rolled oats because rolled oats are less slimy than other types of oats.
Dont squeeze the cheesecloth too hard, you might squeeze out the oat pulp too.
Strain twice for smoother oat milk.
Before drinking, make sure to stir the oat milk well.
