During this time, baking soda and baking powder were also starting to get popular which was a key ingredient in making banana cakes. Because of how simple it was to make, banana cakes became popular really fast and eventually spread to many parts of the world. Which is how we get to enjoy it to this day! So, if you feel like making your own banana bread right now, check out our great recipe. We even made it a little better by steaming it! It helps to bring out a little more flavour~
