Super Soft Milk Cake

Making it is very easy so it's quite suitable if you're just looking for a quick and simple cake to bake! It doesn't have any complex steps either, with just one bowl you can get the batter ready. This milk cake is perfect for dessert, but it also makes a great afternoon tea or even breakfast treat. If you do decide to have it as a late afternoon snack, feel free to cut it into smaller slices to make it perfect to go along with your�cup of tea or coffee. Top it with almond chunks to compliment the classic flavours of the cake, then you have a perfect treat to serve to your friends and family!

Ingredients:

  • cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 cup Maida flour
  • tsp Baking soda
  • 2 � cup Condensed milk
  • 2 cup Milk�
  • 3 tsp Oil
  • tsp Vanilla extract
  • Almond Chunks to your likings

Instructions

Steps:

  • Add powdered sugar, flour/maida, baking powder, baking soda and mix together.
  • Then add oil and continue mixing.
  • Add milk gradually while mixing and add vanilla extract.
  • Brush oil onto mould. Pour the batter into the mould.

  • Steam the batter inside a pot. Cook on low medium heat for 35-40 minutes. (For the oven, bake it in a 180c preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
  • In a pot, add milk and condensed milk. Cook until it becomes 1 cup.
  • Prick the cake with a toothpick and pour the milk.
  • Spread some chopped almonds for toppings.
