The Vision Pro also operates on Apple’s innovative Vision OS, their first spatial operating system, elevating the user experience to new heights.
True to its name, the Vision OS empowers users with immersive spatial experiences. With the Apple Vision Pro goggles on, you can effortlessly engage in intuitive interactions.
For instance, you can conveniently gaze at an element to make a selection, perform actions by tapping your fingers together, and even use a virtual keyboard or dictation for typing purposes.
It also lets you freely manipulate apps, allowing you to move and scale them according to your preference, respond to your surroundings’ lighting conditions, and even incorporate realistic shadow casting.
Apple has also introduced a noteworthy feature called EyeSight, which ensures you remain connected to the external world, even during complete immersion in the Vision Pro experience.
The Vision Pro is powered by a dual-chip setup for efficient and stable performance.
The M2 chip can run visionOS, advanced algorithms, and spectacular graphics, while the R1 chip processes input from cameras, sensors, and microphones, allowing you to stream with a latency of just 12 milliseconds.
