One Tiktok user Zoe (@Zohtaco), excitedly posted about a new black-coloured Charles & Keith bag that her dad bought for her and shared it was her first-ever luxury bag.
She is also seen happily modelled the new black tote bag in a few videos on her TikTok account.
However, she received a snide comment from someone who implied that Charles & Keith is not a luxury brand.
Zoe was clearly hurt by the comment and did not let it slide. Zoe responded to the harsh commenter in a video and pointed out the commenter’s privileged upbringing led to the ignorant comment.
She explained how her family moved to Singapore with nothing much, and there were times her family couldn’t afford simple things like bread.
In the video, she also stated that the S$80 bag was a luxury for her because it was expensive for her family and her father worked very hard to get her the gift.
TikTok users also left some encouraging comments on the video, saying that her dad raised her well, and one even said that Charles & Keith have to do “something”.
