Calum Scott, the English singer-songwriter, captured 2,000 hearts at the Plenary Hall in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) during his “Bridges” concert last night.

The show lasted 90 minutes with 17 songs performed, including many tracks from Scott’s sophomore studio album, Bridges.
“Selamat sejahtera Kuala Lumpur. It’s great to be back,” said Scott referring to his second return to the country. His first concert back in 2019 was a sold-out concert, and he returned to perform live to his loyal fans.
“I just wanna say we’re going to take you on a journey,” he said before starting singing Cross Your Mind.
The concert was an emotional and enjoyable experience as Scott serenaded the audience on the rollercoasters of being in relationships with “Rise”, “Biblical”, and “If You Ever Change Your Mind”. Scott was backed by a live band with 6 members, including a violinist and cellist.
Scott’s first concert in Malaysia back in 2019, where he also sang several covers featuring Maroon 5’s This Love.
“I used to be in a cover band, but we called ourselves Maroon 4 since we only had four band members.
“I was (Maroon 5 frontman) Adam Levine for a while, minus the creepy DMs,” he shared with the last night’s audiences.



As soon as he began performing “You Are The Reason”, the crowd when crazy while singing along. It is one of the popular songs from his debut album, “Only Human”, and it received many likes from Malaysians over the years.
“Bridges”, “Flaws”, “Run With Me”, “I’ll Be There”, “Last Tears”, “Woke Up In Love”, and “Where Are You Now” are some of the other songs he performed during the show.
Scott also had the local singer-actress Diana Danielle on stage as the special geist to perform “Heaven”. Their voices blended together, creating a harmonious duet as they sang about the power of love between two individuals exceeding any other sort of heaven.
The talented singer ended the concert by performing his own version of the Robyn cover, Dancing On My Own, which had gained recognition worldwide after he sang the track on Britain’s Got Talent. The iconic song was
The concert also featured New Zealand artiste Mitch James as the opening act. He performed multiple acoustic pop songs, including “Bright Blue Skies” and “No Fixed Abode”. James also sang along with Scott’s song, “Love Is Just A Word”.
The artiste will wrap up his Asian leg of the “Bridges” tour by heading to Singapore for another concert.
Scott also was spotted on an Air Asia flight to Malaysia, and the passengers got the unique experience of being serenaded by him with “You Are The Reason”.
After the flight landed, he was seen taking a few photos with his fans.
