Christina Perri, the famous “A Thousand Years” singer and her husband, Paul Costabile, welcomed a baby girl on 22nd October 2022 after suffering two pregnancy losses in 2020. The couple got married on 12th December 2017, and their first child, Carmella Stanley, was born on 17th January 2018. Perri had a miscarriage and pregnancy problems a few years later, culminating in two pregnancy losses in 2020. Perri’s magical double rainbow baby girl was born this year, making it a terrific year for the family.

This great news warmed many hearts as Perri shared that she had suffered a miscarriage at 11 weeks in January 2020 and shared in July of the same year that she and her husband were expecting again. But Perri was hospitalised 4 months after the announcement due to pregnancy complications. She then broke the news of a stillborn daughter named Rosie, who had passed away after being ‘born silent’.

On 22nd October 2022, she shared a picture of her magical double rainbow baby girl, Pixie Rose Costabile. The black and white photo shows Perri cradling her newborn in her chest at the hospital.
“She’s here!” She wrote, sharing her excitement “With a whole lot of faith, trust and pixie dust she has arrived safely. please welcome our magical double rainbow baby girl: pixie rose costabile.”
The term “rainbow baby” refers to a newborn born after a miscarriage or loss. Pixie’s birth comes after Perri and her husband endured two heartbreaking losses in 2022.
The heartwarming photo was shared with her fans on Instagram a day after her birth to Pixie.

Perri recently uploaded another Instagram post of a photo of her newborn baby girl with her first daughter, Carmella, with the caption “the moment we’ve been dreaming of for so very long: carmella & her little pixie 🧚🏻♂️”
May God bless you and your precious new baby! ✨
