The second phase of the RM100 book vouchers initiative for students in higher education institutions will take place from October 30 to December 31, benefiting over one million students. The Ministry of Higher Education announced that the vouchers will be distributed through the MySiswaplace digital platform, specifically for students registered and active as of March 31.

Eligible students can access voucher codes after checks are conducted on the MySiswaplace portal starting October 30. Each student can redeem one voucher worth RM100, which can only be used to purchase books from the MySiswaplace portal.

What is MySiswaPlace?

MySiswaPlace is a gateway for Yayasan Perkasa Siswa to communicate, identify, and channel necessary assistance for eligible students. It also serves as an additional intervention to help enhance the performance and potential of students in higher education institutions.

MySiswaplace is designed to facilitate student transactions for this initiative, ensuring easy and quick access to reading materials. The portal aims to create a transparent system that guarantees students have the necessary reference materials to enhance their learning experience.

Higher Education Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir has officially launched the portal. He hopes the initiative will cultivate students’ love for knowledge and reading, invigorate the academic book industry, and promote local scholarly discourse.

Who is Eligible to Receive The Madani Book Voucher?

Students who meet all the following criteria are eligible to receive the e-Book Voucher:

  • Malaysian citizens.
  • Active student status as of March 31, 2024.
  • Currently pursuing studies at the Certificate, Foundation, Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral, and professional courses at diploma level and above recognised by the Government or professional bodies.
  • Enrolled in Higher Education Institutions (IPT) under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), including Public Universities (UA), Polytechnics, Community Colleges, and Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTS).
  • Studying either full-time or part-time.
  • Students who have received vouchers from the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) are not eligible for vouchers under MOHE.
  • IPT students who have received vouchers from MOHE in phase one on June 1, 2024, are not eligible for vouchers in phase two.

3. Next, a 4-digit verification code will be sent to your email.

4. After retrieving your code, you must fill in your details: name, IC Number, and your Uni Matric Number.
