Are you a fan of Tim Burton’s characters? We have exciting news for you! The World of Tim Burton is finally here in KL this coming March. It focuses on the distinctive, unique characters and worlds that could only come from Tim Burton’s singular imagination.

Comprised of over 540 works, including signature pieces, and 150 new works, this exhibition is more than ready to allow new audiences to experience Burton’s art in real life for the first time ever and treats familiar visitors to an in-depth glimpse into his sensibility.

The exhibition features a wide range of works from Burton’s early ages to the most recent project across mediums of sketches, drawings, paintings, photographs, puppets and maquettes used for his film works, and of course, life-sized sculptures. You also get a chance to pose with the artist’s signature figure of Balloon Boy!

This is your golden chance to enter the mind of Tim Burton, known for movies like Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland and Wednesday, the current No. 1 TV show globally on Netflix.

The World of Tim Burton has divided Tim Burton’s five decades of extensive career into 10 thematic sections. Each section comprises drawings, paintings, photographs and videos, media arts, and many more.

  9. Section 9: UNREALIZED PROJECTS
  10. Section 10: THE ARTIST’S STUDIO

An extraordinary opportunity to get a sneak peek into the latest projects in progress will also be provided in the exhibition to the visitor through the same replica of Tim Burton’s personal studio where he actually works.

The exhibition will be held at Level 2, Orange Zone Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Lot 2.993.00, The World of Tim Burton exhibition will be open daily from 10 am to 10 pm. Even though individual visit times may vary, most visitors anticipate spending 60 to 90 minutes. 

You will also find the official Tim Burton merchandise booth at the venue, allowing you to add your collections. Keep in mind that they only accept cashless payments.
