After an intense game last night, the Malaysia football team secured a place in the semifinal round of the AAF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 after winning 4-1 against Singapore.
The game was held at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil at 8:30 pm. Malaysia will be facing Thailand in the two-legged semifinal, starting on January 7 at National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
The match started to get heated after Darren Lok scored during the 35th minute of the game, followed by Stuart Wilkin in 50th and 54th minute and Ezequiel Agüero in the 88th minute.
Meanwhile, the opponent team scored once by the player Faris Ramli during the 85th minute of the match.
Malaysia will face Thailand in the two-legged semifinal, starting at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Jan 7, 8:30 pm, and the other match will be held at Thammasat Stadium on January 10, 8:30 pm.
