From 10th to 20th April 2023, The Computerised Vehicle Inspection Centre (PUSPAKOM) provides a free voluntary vehicle inspection for all private vehicle owners and drivers to promote safe driving during Aidilfitri.
PUSPAKOM’s chief executive officer, Mohammed Shukor Ismail, said any vehicle owners who would like to have their vehicle inspected for free can walk in from 8 am to 5 pm at any PUSPAKOM branch nationwide, except at Taman Bukit Maluri, Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Selangor and Pasir Gudang, Johor branches.
He added that the Mobile Inspection Unit also offers free-of-charge inspections at various selected locations listed on PUSPAKOM’s website at www.puspakom.com.my or Puspokom Sdn Bhd Facebook account.
The voluntary vehicle inspection will focus on several safety aspects, including brakes, tires, side slips, emission, lights, suspensions, bottom and top of the vehicle and tinted windscreen.
He also mentioned in a statement that the free inspection drive lets vehicle owners be more aware of their vehicles’ condition through inspections using computerised equipment. They could send the vehicle for an appropriate maintenance service with the information they gained.
