How to choose and store nuts:
- It is cheaper to buy nuts in bulk purchases.
- Store nuts in airtight containers to help them last longer.
- Roasting nuts can enhance their flavours especially in cooking and baking but, it can easily go bad when it gets more oily.
It depends on what you want to do with the nuts such as for snacks or using it for cooking and baking because they can give different results. It is also important to understand nut allergies in case you are serving them to someone else because some people might be allergic to the whole category of nuts while some are fortunate enough to only be allergic to a certain type.
