Top 10 Best Camping Site in Johor 2025

There are an endless number of things to do while camping. You can enjoy many fun outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, backpacking, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, swimming, and bird watching.

At some campsites, you can participate in sports, rollerblading and other games. You can also enjoy outdoor crafts or star gazing. If you are planning a camping trip in Johor, read on to learn more about the best camping sites in Johor.

What Are the Common Amenities Found At Camping Sites?

The most common amenities you can find at campsites are fire pits to build campfires, road access for vehicles, gravel or concrete pad on which to park a vehicle, picnic tables, raised platforms to set up tents, flush toilets and showers.

Is There Access To Clean Drinking Water At Camping Sites?

Many campgrounds offer filtered tap water. However, not all campsites provide treated water. If you plan to bring your water, filtering it before bringing it along is a good idea. Alternatively, you can boil drinking water because boiling is the surest method to kill disease-causing organisms, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites.

How Should You Prepare Against Rainy Weather When Camping?

Always bring rain gear, such as a raincoat and boots that will keep your feet dry when camping.

Do not camp in a low area or near a drainage path. Also, invest in a quality waterproof tent with full coverage and consider putting up a large dining tarp. Not only does this provide shade from the sun, but it is excellent for rainy days.
