The iconic Irish pop group Westlife will be performing in Kuala Lumpur for ‘The Wild Dreams’ world tour for a 2-day concert on the 23rd and 24th of February 2023 at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
The world tour ‘The Wild Dreams Tour’ started in the UK back in July, following the group’s previous ‘The Twenty Tour’ for their well-anticipated 20th-anniversary celebration.
“We are always excited to return to Asia to see our many fans. After all that has happened in the world over the last few years, this tour means more to us than any that we have ever done before.”
“It will be a massive celebration and will bring us closer to our fans than before. We are planning some spectacular shows which will include all our greatest hits and some special surprises,” the group said.
Westlife’s The Wild Dreams Tour Live In Kuala Lumpur will be organised by Trumpet International. It will be held at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, in Kuala Lumpur, for two days, 23rd and 24th February 2023 (Thursday and Friday) at 8:30 pm.
The pre-sale ticket booth was also organised by Trumpet International at the Main Atrium in LaLaport BBCC on 10th October 2022 but if you have missed the chance to secure a ticket, worry not! The online ticket sale begins on 11th October 2022 at 11:00 pm via Excitix’s official website.
Westlife was formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1998 and currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. The group reunited in 2018 after being temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of a successful career.
The tour is named after the group’s new studio album, Wild Dreams, released in November 2021. The members shared how the album is “uplifting”, and the songs are inspired by the challenges of the pandemic.
