Desa Park City

This is one of the very few parks in KL that is dog-friendly! So when you come for a run, you might just bump into dogs that are roaming about freely and keeping you entertained. The trail wraps around a beautiful lake that stretches about 2.2km on flat ground.
If food is your go-to after a good run, this is the perfect spot for you, offering you many F&B choices!

KLCC Park

One of the most iconic spots with great accessibility smacked right in the city centre of Malaysia — KLCC Park. The trail stretches to about 1.3km of rubberised tracks with gorgeous views of the Petronas Twin Towers and the well-maintained gardens.
It’s also a good place to unwind after work if you’re working in the city.

Perdana Botanical Gardens

Formerly known as Lake Gardens is KL’s first large-scale recreational park. It is a popular spot where you may frequently bump into a group of active runners. It covers a large area in the city with lush greenery so running here will be an absolute ‘breeze’.
Not to forget, there are several Instagram-worthy canopied spots in the garden for you to take pictures of and catch some breath after your run!

Titiwangsa Lake Garden

This is one of the best jogging spots in KL that’s not one to miss. Its vast lake attracted many joggers and runners who enjoy soaking up the morning and evening views. Its mini water park and the floating bridge is a ‘playground’ for kids to explore and have some splashing fun.

Bukit Kiara Park

Up for an added cardio? Go for a trail run at Bukit Kiara Park starting from the entrance either from Mont Kiara or TTDI. It’s a fun adventure with friends while you go through the flat grounds and off-road terrains into the hills!

Kepong Metropolitan Park

This is another must-visit gorgeous park in Kepong where you can go for your run. You’ll find many families around the park in the evenings, which adds to the entire fun atmosphere. Seasoned runners will appreciate the well-maintained trail that stretches to over 3.8km in a loop.

Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM)

This forest reserve is a go-to spot for those wanting to get some fresh air with greeneries. All the way from a picnic by the waterfall, hike, hilly runs or even do some trail running on the main road that stretches to about 7.5km, this is the one for you!

Bukit Jalil Park

If you want to switch up your runs with different types of terrains, Bukit Jalil Park is perfect for you. The area was developed in 1998 for the Commonwealth Games, and as you head to the International Garden, you’ll be engrossed with the different areas designed specifically to represent different countries, keeping you entertained all the way!

Taman Tasik Shah Alam

It has one of the best jogging trails in Selangor. Imagine enjoying the view of a gorgeous lake with locals kayaking and catching a view of Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque, the famous state mosque in Selangor, while sweating it out. There is a canopy walk nearby and playground for the kids too!
