Hari Raya Aidilfitri is approaching soon but have you ticked off all your Raya preparation list? Do you have your Raya money exchanged? Not yet? Worry not, as we found an easy peasy way to exchange that money without waiting too long in a queue.
One of the most important (and fun) things during Hari Raya is certainly the giving of “duit raya” session. It has become customary in the community to give “duit raya”, and many consider it a “must” for the adults during this festive season.
As the Hari Raya approaches, many bank counters have already opened for “duit raya” exchange, but queueing up may take some time.
Do not dread yet! Did you know that you can actually exchange money at an ATM machine?
Let’s take a look at how easy it is to exchange money at ATMs:
1. Maybank
Go to the nearest branch of Maybank (selected Maybank only) and look for an ATM with a picture indicating “Dapatkan wang kertas RM10 di mesin ini” to receive new Hari Raya money. Please note that the maximum withdrawal amount is RM300.

2. Ambank
There are 40 ATMs available nationwide for dispensing RM10 notes in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, according to the list provided by AmBank. However, please note that the exchange of notes is limited to RM300 per transaction.

There are a total of 51 branches of Affin Bank and Affin Islamic that have Raya ATMs, which dispense RM10 and RM50 notes.
