The Jelita Ostrich Farm is located within the state’s Department of Veterinary Services site, and you must go through their main guard house to enter. Small packets of corn kernels are available for RM 1 each, and you can get some to feed the ostriches, goats and pigeons. Goats are let loose, and the ostriches are fenced up. You can watch ostriches racing each other or walk around the nearby gift shop, which sells souvenirs and ostrich products.

The Negeri Sembilan Minangkabau State Museum is where you can learn and understand Minangkabau culture and traditions. The museum contains photographs and artefacts with captions explaining the stories behind each group of pictures or articles. The entrance fee to the main museum building entrance and the exhibition hall is free. However, there is a RM 5 fee for entrance to the upstairs Islamic scientist exhibition hall which displays some inventions by ancient and Middle East scientists.

The Centipede Temple is a Chinese temple located at the top of a hill. They have rabbits and tortoises inside the temple, and there is a pond full of koi fish that you can feed. You can also pray to the Kuan Yin deity and make wishes at the pond. Furthermore, the temple overlooks a panoramic view of Seremban town and is surrounded by natural forests and greenery.

You can watch performances on the stage set up at Sungai Ujong Walk while you are there. Sungai Ujong Walk has a variety of hawker stalls serving local specialities. The prawn mee tastes fantastic and is usually served with two giant fresh prawns. There are also stalls selling char kuey teow, fried lobak kueh, popiah, and fresh fruit juices. Aside from the regular food stalls, there are two other streets with more stalls selling food and household items.

The Tow Kee Hakka Mee is located in Pasar Besar Seremban. The shop opens exceptionally early in the morning and is so popular that the Hakka Mee is usually sold out by 9am – 10am. The Hakka Mee dish has marinated minced pork and bright green chives sprinkled upon a generous amount of noodles. This combination of fresh ingredients tastes fantastic when eaten together.

The Gift Tilapia Restaurant serves exceptionally fresh and delicious seafood. Their menu includes the salted egg fried sotong, fuyong egg, prawns, and char siew barbeque pork. That’s not all. There is also the steamed fish with soy sauce, their signature dish. This steamed fish is always steamed to perfection and is so fresh that it has no fishy smell. The prices charged for the food are reasonable too.
