The band was formed in 2006 after its lead singer, Noh Salleh has gained a following through his music demos on MySpace. Pop Shuvit is a Malaysian rap rock group founded in 2001 which known for songs such as “Jump”, “Slip Away” and “Conversations”. The group consists of Murali Dharan Marimuthu (Moots! – MC), Jedidiah Wong (JD – vocals, guitar), Nazrin Mohd Nasir (AJ – bass guitar), Azlan Rudy Abdul Malik (Rudy – drums) and Syazlee Zalsyam Zakaria (DJ Uno – DJ, vocals). The name of the group is derived from a skateboarding term with the same name and they have released five albums – Take It & Shuvit (2002), Here & Now (2005), Amped & Dangerous (2006), Freakshow Vol. 1: Tales of the Travelling Tunes (2007) and Cherry Blossom Love Affair (2011).

Bittersweet is a band that draws influence from British pop-rock music and was formed in 2004. Hailing from Ipoh, they stand out from the norm by incorporating elements of rock, punk, indie, pop and disco into their music. With legendary bands such as Oasis, The Stone Roses and The Beatles as their inspirations, Bittersweet often takes the stage dressed in coordinated, well-fitted suits, playing a unique blend of sounds. Kyoto Protocol is a rock band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that was established in 2009. The band is comprised of Fuad as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Gael as the back-up vocalist and keyboard player, Hairi as the guitarist, Shakeil as the bassist and Shan as the drummer. In 2011, Kyoto Protocol received recognition for their talents being nominated in the “Best New Artist” category at the Anugerah Industri Muzik awards following the success of their EP “An Album”. Kugiran Masdo is a band from Malaysia and they perform pop music based on the 60s genre and reinterpreted with a modern taste. Some of their famous songs include Bunga, Bercanda Di Malam Indah, Dinda and Janji Manis which became popular on social media platforms such as TikTok as background music for videos. The band chose the name “PESAWAT” meaning “airplane” in English to reflect the fast-paced and energetic nature of their music and to symbolize their aspirations to take their sound to new heights and across the world. Massacre Conspiracy is also known as M16 is a Malaysian metal core band that specializes in playing melodic metal core music. They have become famous for their energetic music and impressive live performances. The band gained recognition with their popular singles such as “Start Looking towards the Sky” and “Bloodless”. This led to the release of their first full-length album “Lost Holocaust” in 2013. M16 has also had the opportunity to perform at notable events such as the Rock The World stage and Canada’s Envol et Mecadam music festival. In 2012, they were awarded the “Breakthrough Artist” at 8TV’s Shout Award. The Padangs is energetic musical group hailing from Kajang has been active since 2006 and has played at over 300 shows both locally and internationally. They specialize in metal, hardcore and experimental music and believe that the secret to creating a successful band is having a strong bond and enjoying playing music together. Their efforts have paid off and they have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with their debut album “Accidents Were Made” in 2008 and later works such as “No Mercy” and “Waste No Time” in 2011.

Kids On The Move is a 5-member Straight Edge Hardcore band based in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. They have been active since 2003 with performing locally and throughout Southeast Asia. In addition to their involvement with KOTM, the band members have also played in other prominent hardcore/punk groups in Malaysia such as Second Combat, Triangle, Boulevard, Thy Regiment and Mas Last.

Margasatwa (also known as Mergastua) is a Malaysian indie rock group established in 2016. The band consists of Kimal (vocals), Fadhil Imran James (lead guitar), Shahir Samsi (second guitar), Shadiq Sapian (bass) and Syahir Majid (drums). They are populay because of their incorporating elements of Malay music in many of their works. The group’s self-titled debut album was released in October 2019.
