Wondering what to make without the use of an oven?
We got your back.
These simple yet tasty desserts can be whipped up so quickly and they don’t need an oven at all!
1. CHOCOLATE NUTTY FUDGE
A sweet combination of chocolate ice cream, nuts and marshmallows. It packs a ton of flavor and texture!
All you gotta do is mix 2 cups of chocolate chips with 414 ml of condensed milk and 2 tbsp of butter and cook using the bain-marie (double boiler) method.
Stir it occasionally to make sure the texture is consistent and mixed well. Then add in the peanuts of your choice and some cute little marshmallows. Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate them for 3 hours. Then cut into squares and enjoy!
2. PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL COOKIES
Peanut butter lovers, try this!
Combine 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup of unsalted butter and 1/2 cup of milk over medium heat in a pan and stir until well incorporated. Then add in a cup of smooth peanut butter, 1/2 tablespoons of salt and 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract (this will make it smell divine!)
Finally add in the rolled oats and mix well. Use an ice cream or cookie scoop and place it onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Let it cool for around 45 minutes until it is set.
3. CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
I never heard anyone say they didn’t like chocolate brownies hahaha.
So if you want to make the easiest version, listen up! Boil 414 ml of sweetened condensed milk and 56g of unsweetened chocolate in a pan for 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Add in crushed graham crackers, nuts and stir well. Transfer on to a baking pan and refrigerate for 2-4 hours. You can top it with some chopped nuts too.
4. OREO CHEESECAKE
The favourite of many!
So crush those oreos using a blender or food processor then add it into 60 g of melted butter and mix well. Press the mixture onto a baking pan lined with butter. Now your base is done.
For the cheesecake part – add 453g of room-temperature full-fat cream cheese, 120g of powdered sugar, 450 ml of whipped cream and 15 finely-crushed Oreos in a mixing bowl then mix well until it is well combined. Pour the mixture onto the base and refrigerate for 4 hours. You can top it with whipped cream and Oreo pieces when serving.
5. PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
Another one for the peanut butter lovers woohoo!
So add 1 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1/4 cup of honey and 2 scoops of protein powder in a mixing bowl and stir well. You may add chocolate chips too if you like.
Then scoop with an ice cream scoop or roll it like a ball with your hands. I have seen some people coat it with coconut flakes too. You can really customize this recipe according to your liking. Then refrigerate for 20 minutes. It’s so yummy! And let me tell you, this will finish fast hahaha.
6. APPLE PIE
Classic dessert.
To make the pie crust, blend 6 graham crackers and then press it onto a pan lined with butter or cooking spray. Let it harden in the fridge.
For the pie, mix 1 pack of lemon gelatin, 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a pan filled with 1 1/2 cup of water. Add 5 apples (remove the core, make sure it is peeled & sliced) and bring everything to a boil. Once it becomes soft, add in vanilla and about ¼ cup of water and cook for another 2 minutes. Make sure to keep stirring so it is well combined. Transfer it onto the crust then refrigerate for 2 hours.
7. STRAWBERRY ICEBOX CAKE
Sounds interesting right?
Here’s how to do it. Beat 2 cups of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract using a hand/stand mixer until stiff peaks are formed.
Alternatively layer this cream with graham crackers and until all the mixture is used up. Then top it with strawberries! SImpel as that! Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
8. LEMON TART
Sweet, zesty and absolutely tasty!
All you need to do is blend 5-6 graham crackers and spread it onto a pan evenly then set aside. Now for the filling, pour 400g of sweetened condensed milk or 1/2 cup of granulated sugar into a pan. Then add 3 freshly-squeezed lemon juice into the pan. Finally pour in a cup of heavy whipped cream and cook over low heat until tit thickens.
Then pour it over the crust and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. You can serve with sliced fruits or whipped cream.
All of this is just so scrumptious! Try it and enjoy it with your family at home!
