What should you consider before buying a clock radio?
- Type
Clock radios range from simple and delicate two-function devices which contain a radio and an alarm to smart models with a slew of other features. For example, standard alarm clock radio or Bluetooth alarm clock radio.
- Wired versus Wireless
Most clock radios are powered by a standard 115-volt plug and outlet. While this works ideally fine when the power is on, it won’t help if there is a power outage, as the clock will be off, and all of the settings will be reconstructed. In the event of a power loss, many clock radios consists of battery backups that keep the clock working.
- Sound Quality and Volume
